The workshop is titled: "Faith In Violence-Free Families: Building Partnerships for Change".

A workshop for community members, volunteers and employees who provide services and support to those affected by domestic violence and for those interested in learning more about building more peaceful communities.

This Workshop will focus on:

• Developing mutual understanding of cause, influences, and dynamics of domestic violence. Determine how to appropriately access people.
• Preventing abuse through awareness and education.
• Exploring how faith/spiritual perspectives can perpetuate or challenge viewpoints regarding abusive relationships.
• Learning and sharing strategies for collaborating as well as the pros and cons.
• Developing a concrete action plan for next steps.
