Mission Statement:

The mission of SALAM Center Adult Education committee is the betterment and enrichment of the intellectual, social, and spiritual condition of our community members through quality education programs, designed to promote the highest ethical principals in life and practice.

We value diversity and cultural competency.  We believe in providing education and services that are both student- and community- centered.  We plan to be innovative, progressive, and responsive in meeting the educational needs of the community through traditional Islamic and non-traditional approaches.

We will consistently assess program quality, employ best practices, encourage creative ideas, and strive for continuous improvement in all aspects of adult education.  We believe that by working together with our community members we can achieve more than individuals working separately.

We support knowledgeable and dedicated educators by encouraging professional growth and self-improvement.

We aim to serve our community members through instructional and outreach programs that will prepare our members to respond successfully to the growing challenges that they are facing now and will face in the future.
