The Quran Memorization Contest is designed to strengthen people's relationship with the Quran. This can be achieved at a multitude of levels:

1. The strength of your memorization.
2. Understanding the meaning of the words
3. Learning the tafsir
4. The Beauty of the recitation

The contest will be judged by a panel of judges that will judge every contestant's:

1. Memory
2. Rules of Tajweed
3. Beautification of the recitation
4. Khowledge of the meanings of some the most importants words in the Surah.

 

Rules:

Kids 12 years and younger:

Surah #47 Surat Muhammad (Muhammad) - سورة محمد

Adults 13 years and older:

Surah #10 Surat Yunos (Jonah) - سورة يونس

 Surah #19 Surat Mariam (Mary) - سورة مريم

Prizes:

Surat Yunos:               $500
Surat Mariam:             $250
Surat Muhammad:     $100
