Supporting Refugee Youth

SALAM Islamic Center is excited to launch an Afterschool Tutoring & Enrichment Program designed to empower ORR-Eligible youth with academic support, mentorship, and engaging activities. This initiative will help students build confidence, excel in school, and develop essential life skills in a supportive and culturally inclusive environment.

Eligible students must have received a qualifying immigration status on or after December 30, 2021, and fall under an ORR-eligible category, such as refugee, asylee, SIV holder, humanitarian parolee, trafficking survivor, Amerasian immigrant, or SIJS youth.

Program Details

📆 Sessions: Twice a week
Wednesdays | 5 pm to 7 pm
Saturdays | 10 am to 12 pm

🎯 Eligibility: ORR-Eligible youth, ages 5–14
Arrived after December 31, 2021

📍 Location: SALAM Islamic Center, Sacramento, CA
