Boys Qiyam – Prophetic Seerah through Grappling

Join us for an engaging and immersive evening at the Boys Qiyam, where you’ll explore the Seerah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ through the art of grappling. Experience hands-on drills and techniques that reflect how the Prophet and His Sahaba practiced wrestling, providing a unique way to connect with history and learn valuable skills.

Instructor: Br. Muhammed Elmarouk
Muhammed Elmarouk, born and raised in the Bay Area, memorized the Holy Quran at 14 in Mauritania. He continued his studies in Jordan, earning ijazas in Quranic memorization and Thuluth calligraphy. After private studies in Turkiye, he gained over four years of experience teaching Islamic sciences and delivering sermons at MSAs and mosques. Muhammed also consulted on Quran memorization programs for Muslim institutions. Currently a teacher, writer, and editor at Basira Education, he lives in Toronto, Canada, and is pursuing a Master’s in Islamic Studies at Bayan College.
