Dr. Imam Sherif Ahmed

The SALAM Center for Higher Islamic Learning is honored to welcome Dr. Imam Sherif Ahmed as a Visiting Faculty Member for the Fall 2025 semester.

Dr. Imam Sherif Ahmed is the Co-Founder and Dean of the Tarbiya Institute’s Seminary and currently serves as a Visiting Scholar at Bayan Islamic Graduate School. A seasoned educator and entrepreneur, Dr. Sherif brings over two decades of experience in faith-based leadership, institutional development, and community education. His academic journey includes studies in English Literature, Business Administration, and Islamic Studies. He holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Business Unit Management from HEC Paris and a Doctorate in Nonprofit Leadership and Management from the University of Colorado. He is also in the process of completing a Master’s degree in Islamic Studies at Chicago Theological Seminary.

Insha’a Allah, Dr. Sherif will serve in the English Track of the Seminary Program at SALAM Center for Higher Islamic Learning, where he is scheduled to teach “The Art of Dhikr and Du‘a” during the Fall 2025 semester. His addition to the faculty reflects a meaningful advancement of SALAM’s mission of spiritual development, academic excellence, and community empowerment.
