Walking in Faith: A Conversation on Muslim Experiences in the Americas

On Friday, August 26 at 7 pm, SALAM & CAIR, in partnership with many other community organizations, are co-hosting a Friday night discussion in celebration of American Muslim Appreciation and Awareness Month!

This event is intended to help deepen our understanding of our community by being in relationships with one another and sharing our stories. There is a lot of gendered, racial, and sectarian violence that exists in our community, and it is crucial for us, during times of celebration and achievement, that we are reflective on the needs of the vulnerable amongst us.

We will be facilitating a space for difficult conversations and elevating the voices of those marginalized in our communities while also celebrating our accomplishments, history, and struggle as a community for centuries on these lands.

This is a two-part program w/ food & refreshments provided!
