General Description
The event and volunteer coordinator is in charge of recruiting, training, and supervising volunteers for the SALAM Weekend School.
The coordinator works closely with the school administration to plan and execute school events and carry out administrative assignments as requested.
Part-time Position
Working hours are flexible, with an average of 3 hours per week, mostly Sunday between 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Event and volunteer management
- Excellent English communication skill
- Some computer skills (MS Office)
- Familiarity with SALAM’s diverse cultures
A college degree in business or administration is preferred but not required.
Salary and Benefits
The pay is between $15 to $20 per hour based on qualifications.
