When the Heart Feels Heavy

There are times when the heart carries a weight that words cannot fully hold. A heaviness settles in, and even from a distance, the soul feels it.

In such times, we remember that our faith was not built for ease alone. It was built to carry us through uncertainty, to keep us rooted when the world feels unstable, and to teach us how to remain soft before Allah when everything around us tempts us toward despair.

So we hold on.
We hold on through prayer.
We hold on through du‘a.
We hold on through remembrance.
We hold on through trust.

And we remember that Allah is never unaware, never absent, and never distant from the cries of His servants.

If all you can do is turn to Him again, then turn.
If all you can offer is a trembling du‘a, then offer it.
If all you can manage is to protect the light of faith in your heart, then guard it well.

This too is worship.
This too is trust.
This too is a way of holding on.

So hold on. Hold on to Allah with everything in you. For when the world trembles, the heart anchored in Him will never be lost.
