Last Friday, around 200 community members gathered for a bonfire night with nasheeds and a discussion about jinn and black magic by Imam Ammar Shahin, Imam of Davis Masjid, while enjoying hot dogs, hot chocolate, and s’mores.
The youth enjoyed a game of dodgeball, ping pong, tug of war, amongst other activities.
SALAM is a tax-exempt, non-profit organization dedicated to promoting Islamic teachings, understanding, and unity among all Muslims in the Greater Sacramento community.
