End of the Year Tax Reduction Planning

Assalamu Alaikum Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Under Tax Avoidance, IRS regulations allow eligible taxpayers to claim charitable contributions as tax-deduction.

There are several ways to avoid paying tax by giving charitable contributions to qualified non-profit, tax-exempt organizations like SALAM.

Two of them are:

1- Your charitable giving, in cash or stock, to SALAM throughout the year.

2- Your Required Minimum Distribution from IRA when you reach the age of 70 and ½ when given as “Qualified Charitable Distribution” to qualified organizations. If you decided to ask your broker to send the check to SALAM at 4545 College Oak Dr., Sacramento, CA 95841, please use SALAM legal name: “Sacramento Area League of Associated Muslims”

Some might say that if I don’t give to charity, I’ll keep more money in my pocket. You are right; but you’ll miss the heavenly satisfaction and rewards that you’ll receive by helping the Masajid of Allah.

I hope you remember SALAM in your End of The Year Tax Reduction Planning.
